We are committed to building a community of faithful followers of Christ,
bound by their love and service to God and towards one another.
And through the abounding grace of God, unites in fulfilling
His call to serve, bringing hope to the needy and the hopeless.
Walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness
and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,
endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all
John 13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one
just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may
be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
1 Corinthians 12:12-14
For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members
of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.
For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many.
As believers we are called to build a community that clearly manifests the love of Jesus through our unity, through the encouragement of each one’s giftedness toward enabling the body to grow in maturity, through
synergy in serving and generosity in our giving to one another and to
others who are in need.
The love we demonstrate to one another serves as a warm invitation and as a compelling witness to those who need to experience the reality of
God’s love, and the power of His healing. It gives life to the ministry of reconciliation He has entrusted to His church, which now serves as
His body here on earth.
We therefore hold ourselves accountable to one another, to build strong
personal relationships that will enable us to encourage, teach and if
needed to correct one another in our walk with the Lord.
